Viture Launches Phantom Blade Zero-Themed Phantom Beast XR Glasses

New Thematic Hardware Release

Viture has officially opened preorders for a specialized edition of its flagship virtual display glasses, the Viture Phantom Beast XR. Launched in collaboration with the upcoming action RPG Phantom Blade Zero, the hardware features aesthetics inspired by the game’s black and red visual style. The unit is priced at $599 and is currently available via the official Viture website and the IGN Store.

Hardware Features and Functionality

The Phantom Beast XR glasses function as a wearable virtual display, designed to project an image equivalent to a 174-inch screen for the user. The core technology mirrors Viture’s standard XR glasses, allowing users to connect to various external hardware—including PCs, smartphones, and gaming consoles—to play games, consume media, or perform productivity tasks while on the move.

Compatibility varies by device. The glasses offer "plug and play" functionality for Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, Steam Deck, and Viture’s own Pro Neckband. For console users on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or the Nintendo Switch, an additional accessory, the Pro Mobile Dock, is required to facilitate the connection.

Exclusive Collectibles and Preorder Details

Beyond the cosmetic branding, the Phantom Beast XR package includes a scabbard-style carrying case and a removable strap. Customers who complete their preorders before November 5 will receive a limited-edition game map. Additional collectibles bundled with the glasses include a replica of the "Mó Sanguine Blade," a themed lens cloth, and a sticker set.

Practical Implications and Verification

Prospective buyers should verify their hardware compatibility before purchasing, as the requirement for a separate Pro Mobile Dock for home consoles adds to the overall investment cost. While the glasses provide a large, portable display, performance is contingent on the host device's output capabilities.
