Harish Kalyan and Sasi’s Long-Delayed ‘Nooru Kodi Vaanavil’ Confirms Direct OTT Release on ZEE5

A Long-Awaited Premiere

After remaining unreleased for several years following its launch in 2019, the romantic drama film *Nooru Kodi Vaanavil* is finally heading to audiences. According to recent announcements, the Tamil-language project has opted to skip a traditional theatrical release in favor of a direct-to-streaming premiere. The makers have confirmed that the film will arrive on the digital platform ZEE5.

Release Schedule and Platform

• Confirmed Streaming Date: November 6, 2026
• Release Window: Ahead of Diwali
• Platform: ZEE5
• Distribution Format: Direct digital release, skipping cinemas

The announcement brings an end to a prolonged period of uncertainty for the project. Although a motion poster and teaser were released in 2022, the film faced delays and did not secure a theatrical window despite completing post-production.

Cast and Crew

Directed by filmmaker Sasi—known for previous works such as *Poo*, *Pichaikkaran*, and *Nooru Saami*—the film features a notable ensemble cast:

• Lead Actors: Harish Kalyan and Siddhi Idnani
• Supporting Cast: Kovai Sarala, Thambi Ramaiah, and Chinni Jayanth
• Music Composition: Sidhu Kumar

Context and Verification

The digital premiere follows the streaming interest surrounding director Sasi's body of work, though the specific factors leading to the direct-to-OTT decision remain subject to industry circumstances. Viewers looking to verify release details or watch the film upon its arrival can check official announcements directly on the ZEE5 streaming platform or follow verified social media channels associated with the cast and crew.
