India Post Skilled Artisan Recruitment 2026: Offline Applications Open for 19 Posts

Artisan/DR/II/95, inviting offline applications for 19 Skilled Artisan and Tradesman positions across seven trades. Eligible candidates must submit their applications through Speed Post only by 30 November 2026, up to 5:00 PM.

A total of 19 vacancies are distributed across seven distinct technical trades:

• MV Mechanic: 8 posts (including 2 horizontal reservations for Ex-Servicemen)

• Age Limit: The unreserved age limit is 18 to 30 years calculated as of 1 July 2018, as explicitly mandated in the historical cut-off date of the corrigendum. Age relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and Ex-Servicemen as per government guidelines.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 under Level 2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix, plus admissible allowances.
