Bay City Roller and Pic D’Orhy Highlight Saturday Racing Previews

As racing fans look ahead to Saturday’s action, several notable contenders are drawing attention across major fixtures, highlighted by the Breeders' Cup card and domestic meetings.

Breeders' Cup Highlights

The Breeders' Cup Turf stands out as a major focus for European supporters, with a strong contingent travelling from the UK, Ireland, and France.

• Bay City Roller: Reported to be coming off a strong second-place finish in the Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp, this contender is noted as a top-rated runner on Timeform ratings for the surface. Despite a wide draw in stall 13, analysts suggest that tactics and the short straight could play to his strengths if he secures a handy position early.
• Other Notable Mentions: Additional meetings feature runners like Ways And Means at Keeneland, looking for a strong trip, and Classic Q, pointed out as a potential each-way alternative.

Domestic Contenders and Stable Changes

In domestic fixtures, attention turns to Wetherby and other UK racecourses.

• Pic D’Orhy: The high-profile chaser recently moved from Paul Nicholls to Dan Skelton over the summer. Having placed closely in past outings and historically performing well when fresh, the contender is aimed at the Charlie Hall Chase.
• Additional Runners: Horses such as Tanking Along at Wetherby and Kateira are also noted among the day's discussions by race analysts.
