Jake Paul Announces Boxing Return Against MMA Star Cedric Doumbe in Dubai

Upcoming Bout Scheduled for December 24

YouTube personality turned boxer Jake Paul has announced plans for a return to the boxing ring. According to his promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions, the 29-year-old American is scheduled to face mixed martial arts star Cedric Doumbe in Dubai on December 24.

Organizers describe the upcoming encounter as a professionally sanctioned eight-round cruiserweight bout. The cruiserweight division typically centers around the 200-pound (90.7kg) limit, a weight class where Paul has competed for the majority of his professional career.

Following the defeat, he dropped out of the World Boxing Association cruiserweight rankings.

Paul began his professional boxing career in 2020. Across his career, he has recorded 12 victories out of 14 fights, including a win against former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in 2024.
